The 23.5 degree shift of our planet's axis causes our wonderful seasons. I'm continually amazed by it all. Of course, the summer solstice also reminds me that budworm threatens our baskets.

    Hi Linda!
Haha I did get a few waves so it was all good . I couldn’t find a safer area close by to give the proper effect of the amazing distance (as well as size) of our little planet is to our sun. (I find it fascinating too.) As the fiddler on roof duly notes: sunrise, sunset. Swiftly flow the days…

I think it says a lot about Tualatin that no one slows down or thinks it odd that a man in a kilt is running around the street with a miniature hanging basket. We do love our Garden Corner (and rebels). I am glad no one hit you. I love the Summer Solstice time and the sharing of the science. The heat has changed our summer dynamics (not to mention the loss of a few trees from the ice storm that altered the amount of sun). Thanks for sharing the appreciation and assuring us that the other wildlife like the bees (our beloved pollinators) are not harmed from the spray. LIVE YOUR NATURAL PASSION!
