Begonia 'Soli-Mutata' Quart

Availability: In stock (10)

Who needs flowers when a plant has foliage as striking as Sun-Changing Begonia's? Prominent lime green veins stand out against dark green to chocolate brown leaves. The more light this begonia gets, the darker the leaf, so consider placing it near south or west facing windows indoors and in dappled sun outdoors during the summer months. In lower light, the round, red-edged leaves will become a deep green, all the more intriguing for its hairy, almost pebbly texture. Sun-changing begonia is a low grower, about six to 12 inches tall, and a bit wider in spread, so it will adapt well to container planters or hanging baskets. Best to keep this one out of the reach of chewing pets and little humans as begonias are known to be toxic.
