Available in store
Close'Doone Valley Creeping Thyme' is a dependable ground cover well-suited to our Pacific NW climate. Its irregular yellow variegation against dark green leaves adds visual and textural interest to borders, along walkways, and trailing over retaining walls. It withstands some foot traffic so works well between stepping stones, and has a lemony fragrance when crushed. This thyme stays fairly low, only two to four inches tall, but can spread one to two feet wide in sunny locations. Consider adding 'Doone Valley Creeping Thyme to year-round container planters and hanging baskets as a trailer with small purple blooms from late spring into the summer.
