One of our nursery employees can confirm all that is said about 'Albion' strawberries. Large, red, conical berries start ripening in June and continue on into the fall, produced on large plants ranging from 8 to 12 inches tall and about as wide.  Plant strawberries in full sun so they'll be at their sweetest when harvested, and be ready to defend berries from slugs. Perhaps the easiest way to foil them is to grow strawberries in container planters, including hanging baskets.
