CloseSpirea is a much-appreciated shrub in the Pacific NW with its dense rounded profile, spreading a bit wider than it is tall. 'Limemound' spirea adds fresh brightness to the garden with its lime green foliage in the spring and summer, and fall colors when the temps drop. Flowers appear in flat clusters in early summer, blooming on new wood, so trim 'Limemound' in late winter to early spring. This variety is a welcome addition to container planters, along borders in the garden, or as informal low hedges.
