ClosePeperomias are such a diverse group of houseplants, it's likely that even the most discerning indoor gardeners will find at least one that fits their needs and preferences. Piccolo Banda' peperomia is a slow-growing variety that can form a mound about eight to twelve inches tall and wide, with the characteristic "rat tail" flowers. The pale green leaves with deeply colored, red to black veins make this variety a bold addition to indoor container planters, holding its own against larger varieties. Peperomias will tolerate lower light settings but do best in well-lit rooms with higher humidity, and prefer too little water to too much. As are other peperomias, 'Piccolo Banda' is pet-friendly.
