'Blazin Rose' bloodleaf will indeed provide blazing color in part-shade gardens, with bright-pink veined leaves contrasting dramatically against maroon to purplish-red leaves. This iresine is quite vigorous, reaching two to three feet in height and width, providing a fabulous contrast to leafy shade plants such as hostas, brunnera and bergenia, or any of the flowering annuals. This one fares best in morning sun with afternoon shade, or all-day filtered sun, and performs equally well in the ground or in container planters.
