First day of Fall! (and a regular day?)

It's here! (This is an official announcement.) Today, however, I'll be planting two baskets that have previously survived for several YEARS. Is it possible to do this again? Yes, if we avoid these common planting mistakes.

    Hi Carolyn!
Not at all! Trim and then be sure to add in some root power when you plant. It was good to see you!-

Yesterday I came in and worked with Hannah to choose plants for fall/winter baskets. The 'Boulder Blue' fescue is perfect for my use, but the rootball is too deep for my planter. Will it harm the plant to trim off 1 1/2" from the bottom of the rootball?
