CloseThe Eared Lady Fern is something of a late bloomer, pushing up its new pale green fronds after other deciduous ferns have popped up, but keeps its good looks well into the fall. Burgundy stems contrast beautifully with the dusky green foliage, forming clumps about one to two feet tall and wide. 'Eared Lady Fern' is a lovely addition to shady borders or container planters and hanging baskets. Cut back spent fronds to the ground in late winter in preparation for new growth in the spring.
