CloseAnyone who gets into indoor gardening or works in an office will most likely cross paths with a ZZ plant. Extremely popular due to its attractive, high-gloss foliage and easy-care nature, ZZ plants will tolerate low natural or fluorescent lights, irregular watering, and slightly cramped roots, though it will be happier in a well-lit room and prefers to be on the drier side. It's narrow profile makes it a natural for tight corners and usually stays under three feet tall. Keep the ZZ plant out of reach of chewing pets and humans, as this plant is mildly toxic if ingested.
