'Lime Zinger' Elephant's Ear can add a wonderful tropical feel to summer shade gardens but is not hardy enough to handle the wet and cold of Pacific NW autumns and winters. Soft, lime green leaves can grow to over a foot long and move with the slightest of breezes. Though it can grow three to four feet tall and two to three feet wide, consider growing 'Lime Zinger' in container planters that can be brought indoors in the winter. As a houseplant, it prefers a well-lit room, higher humidity, but a reduced watering schedule.
