CloseThis Golden Dwarf Japanese Yew may appease shade gardeners' yen for a bright evergreen presence that is more conifer-like than tropical. 'Nana Aurescens' puts out bright yellow growth in the spring that darkens to a deep green the rest of the year. Growing only three to six inches per year, it will top out around two feet tall, and spread anywhere from three to eight feet wide at maturity. Tolerant of shadier conditions, it's a great choice for woodland gardens, zen gardens, container planters, and borders.
