CloseThere is nothing like a perfectly ripe, fresh-picked strawberry, and 'Quinault' delivers beautiful berries from mid-summer into the fall. This variety is unique for its ability to produce fruit on unrooted runners, making it a perfect candidate for container planters and hanging baskets. Strawberry plants multiply via runners, and will fill an in-ground area within a season or two. Be on guard for slugs and birds, as both love strawberries as much as humans do. Mulching the plants will help control slugs.
