The golden color of this "hen" is truly unique and almost glows in the fall and winter. Slow to form chicks, so be patient.

CloseWe love hens and chicks for their durability, drought tolerance, and their beautiful rosettes. 'Gold Nugget' is unique in its coloring, turning a golden yellow with red tips in the fall. and a chartreuse green in the summer. As with all "hens and chicks," this variety does produce chicks, but at a slower pace than others, so patience is required. Pair with other succulents in an indoor planter; you can move it outside in the summer.
