ClosePink Texas Skullcap makes a wonderful addition to xeriscapes, rock gardens, and those sunny areas of the garden that may not get watered regularly. This is a compact perennial that will spread wider than it is tall, and is often viewed as a ground cover of sorts. 12 to 18 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide, the small leafed foliage stays dense and sports pink snapdragon-like blooms from late spring into summer, then intermittently into the fall. Although drought-tolerant once established in the ground, Pink Texas Skullcap will need more frequent watering in container planters.
