'Flutter Deep Blue' Pincushion flower has the characteristic flat-bottomed, dome-shaped flower, but is allegedly bigger and bluer than those of its taller cousin, 'Butterfly Blue.' This variety's compact size makes it a wonderful addition to container planters and hanging baskets, and is terrific in sunny garden borders or in mass plantings. Drought tolerant once established, 'Flutter Deep Blue' pincushion flowers attract scores of bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, but isn't favored by deer.
