Scabiosa 'Flutter Deep Blue'

'Flutter Deep Blue' Scabiosa blooms have the characteristic flat-bottomed, dome-shaped flower, but are allegedly bigger and bluer than those of its taller cousin, 'Butterfly Blue.' This variety's compact size makes it a wonderful addition to container planters and hanging baskets, and is terrific in sunny garden borders or in mass plantings. Drought tolerant once e stablished, sun-loving 'Flutter Deep Blue' pincushion flowers attract scores of bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, but isn't favored by deer.
