Like most salvias, 'Caradonna' Meadow Sage is a true bee and hummingbird magnet. With an upright, vertical profile, this perennial blooms from late spring into the fall, sending up violet-blue blossoms on dark purple stems. 'Caradonna' salvia's leaves resemble the gray-green color and texture of culinary sage, and have a wonderful fragrance when bruised, which may be why deer and rabbits don't care for it. Hardy down to -25 degrees, 'Caradonna salvia will return in the spring for years to come.
