Vinca minor 'Evelyn'

Vinca minor is a tried and true ground cover or trailer in the Pacific NW, with most folks familiar with the blue flowered varieties. 'Evelyn' is a relatively new cultivar from Germany with large white flowers and white-edged green leaves. Just as robust as its cousins, this variety does best with a bit of protection from the late afternoon sun, though it can handle all day sun if watered regularly. Vinca minor is a great option for covering hillsides or parking strips, and does equally well as a trailer in hanging baskets and container planters.
