Verbena 'Estrella Salmon Star' 4 Inch

Verbena is an indispensable addition to spring/summer hanging baskets, adding a distinct texture with its narrow, hairy leaves and its clusters of flowers. 'Estrella Salmon Star' verbena has a distinctive, old-fashioned look, and is a perfect companion to other sun-loving annuals such as petunias, calibrachoa and trailing greenery. Standing six to 12 inches tall, this variety will spill over the edges of hanging baskets and container planters, or add color in borders and mass plantings. Deadheading spent blooms will keep verbena looking its best and will encourage new blooms. A light shearing back in late summer will encourage a final burst of growth before temps dip down to freezing.
