Product Description
Thyme is one of the easiest herbs to grow and harvest, making it a great option for the home gardener, be it in the ground or in container planters/hanging baskets. 'English Wedgewood,' also known as Variegated English Thyme, forms an upright mound about a foot tall and wide, with lightly variegated leaves. Thyme can handle all-day sun, coastal conditions, and mediocre soil, becoming drought tolerant in the ground. If one is inclined to make an herb knot garden, this variety would be great for bordering a bed. Cooks can pick/cut sprigs as needed; light pruning will keep thyme dense. Pollinators are attracted to the lavender flowers that come in late summer and add a bit of interest to the summer garden.
