Product Description
Lemon Variegated Thyme is so pretty, it's easy to forget that this fragrant ground cover is also an edible herb. Gardeners argue about how distinct the lemon scent/taste is, though it definitely adds a twist to "ordinary" thymes. Grow in sunny spots along pathways or in herb gardens, container planters, and hanging baskets. About six inches tall, Lemon Variegated Thyme makes its presence known with its green and white-edged leaves, tiny pink summer flowers, and wonderful fragrance. Deer and rabbits shy away from this herb, but humans can certainly "graze" on it, snipping stems as needed. A light trim after blooms will keep this thyme more compact and less woody.
