Product Description
At The Garden Corner, we're always on the lookout for unusual plants that will thrive in the Pacific NW while also adding a bit of character to the garden. That said, we also recognize the value of tried and true plants such as Red Creeping Thyme. This perennial ground cover is semi-evergreen in mild winters, forming a dense mat of fragrant foliage only a few inches tall, and can easily spread up to a foot wide. It's a terrific choice for placing between stepping stones and pavers, emitting a wonderful fragrance when stepped on. Spilling from container planters and hanging baskets, or creeping across borders or over rocks, Red Creeping Thyme forms a gorgeous mat of pinkish-red blooms in early to mid-summer, and is a favorite for sunny garden spots.
