Give this fast-growing climber something to latch onto - trellis, arbor, obelisk - so it can reach its full height with all those glorious pure orange flowers!
Product Description
Product Description
Thunbergia gregorii should not be confused with its cousin, Thunbergia alata, because gregorii has pure orange flowers while alata has orange petals with a black eye. Thunbergia gregorii got its common name of Orange Clock Vine from its tendency to spiral upwards in a clockwise direction, easily reaching six to ten feet in height and spreading two to three feet wide. Treated as an annual here in the maritime Pacific NW, this specimen will bloom from late spring right into the fall before succumbing to a freeze. Hummingbirds and pollinators love the orange flowers as much as gardeners do!
