The name describes the shape of this American Arborvitae but it doesn't do justice to the texture of this naturally rounded conifer. Fine, lacy green foliage distinguishes this from other cultivars, lending a softer look to the landscape. Tolerant of wet soils, Mr. Bowling Ball® Arborvitae would do well in areas with regular irrigation or next to pond edges, and would do equally well in large container planters.
