Thelypteris decursive-pinnata was renamed Phegopteris decursive-pinnata, but however forgettable the botanical names, this Japanese Beech fern is a lovely pale green addition to the shade garden.
Product Description
Product Description
The Japanese Beech fern is a lovely light green deciduous fern with upright fronds that can reach one to two feet tall and spread slowly to about the same width. While this variety can grow in full shade, the best coloring is achieved when grown in dappled sun or morning sun and afternoon shade. Because it is a slow grower, the Japanese Beech fern is an excellent choice for spring/summer container planters or hanging baskets, dying down in the winter and returning in the spring.
