Large sweet berries are ready for harvest from early summer and right up until fall freeze. Grow in pots close to the kitchen for easy picking, or in the garden with a good layer of mulch to deter slugs. 'Sweet Kiss' has a low profile yet spreads wide, so it's a great way to keep the roots of bigger plants like clematis cool, while letting them both get maximum sunshine. We saw this in action at the Rogerson Clematis Garden in West Linn, and it was brilliant!
