There is nothing like a perfectly ripe, fresh-picked strawberry, and 'Eversweet' delivers beautiful berries from mid-summer into the fall. Bred to withstand exceptional heat, 'Eversweet' may become a new favorite in the Pacific NW as our summers seem to be getting hotter and for longer periods of time. Strawberry plants multiply via runners, and will fill an in-ground area within a season or two. Be on guard for slugs and birds, as both love strawberries as much as humans do. Mulching the plants will help control slugs.
