Product Description
Product Description
The foliage of this Seven-Up Plant is reminiscent of sage and mint leaves - slightly hairy, matte-green on top and white on the underside. Though hardy to about 10 degrees, we treat it as an annual here in the Pacific NW. Growing 12 to 18 inches tall and about as wide, the Seven-Up Plant does best in well-draining soil and thrives in sunny locations. What makes this plant so unique is its Seven-Up fragrance, and bees and hummingbirds love the salmon-colored flowers that continue throughout the summer. Though 'Hidalgo' can be found on our herb tables, we have no idea what it tastes like. Some sources suggest using the leaves for flavoring as you would mint or sage leaves.
