Sedum spurium 'Tricolor' 4 Inch

This variegated stonecrop will brighten up hanging baskets or container planters from spring right into fall with its splashes of pink and cream on vibrant green. Depending upon the temps, it may just last through the winter, though it can get a bit raggedy in our Pacific NW winters. Well-draining soil is key, though it doesn't need to be especially rich, so by all means, plant 'Tricolor' in those gravelly, dry areas of the yard as a low-growing ground cover, capable of spreading up to 18 inches wide. Once established, this sedum can do quite well with infrequent watering, but when first planted, you'll want to water regularly.
