Sedum 'Rock Star'

Nicknamed Stonecrop because of their seeming ability to grow out of stony ground, sedums need well-draining soil and sun to look their best. 'Rock Star' Sedum is a unique upright variety with dense, heavily dissected fleshy foliage, forming mounds up to a foot tall and eventually up to two feet wide. Sedums don't like wet feet, especially in the winter, so if in doubt, consider planting them in container planters or hanging baskets with well-draining soil. 'Rock Star' sedum can take center stage in fabulous succulent baskets during the summer and fall, with clusters of tiny pink blooms in late summer or early fall, just before, the foliage dies back for the winter.
