Tough like other sedums, but a bit more tolerant of shadier locations. Good drainage is a must, so consider growing this round-leafed sedum in pots as a trailer.
Product Description
Product Description
Palmer's Stonecrop forms rosettes of rounded leaves that start upright, then flatten out, spreading up to two feet wide. This variety is fairly tolerant of dry shade, but needs at least half-day sun and may take on pinkish tones if grown in all-day sun. Clusters of bright yellow flowers pop up in the spring, attracting bees and butterflies. Sedums will rot if they have to sit in wet soil all winter, so make sure the beds for which they are destined are well-draining or take the easy route and grow them in container planters or hanging baskets.
