Rounded gray-green to blue leaves are edged in red, and positively thrive in gravelly soil and those less hospitable areas of the garden.
Product Description
Product Description
Sedum ewersii is a great groundcover for xeriscapes and retaining walls, forming low-growing mats that can spread up to a foot wide. Pink flower clusters will top the gray-green rosettes in late summer to early fall, giving bees and other pollinators one more snack before winter sets in. Newly planted succulents need regular water until established, and that usually takes one whole growing season. On the flip side, sedums really suffer in heavy clay soil, so consider using this stonecrop in a mixed hanging basket or container planter.
