Sedum 'Candy Chocolate Drop'

'Candy Chocolate Drop' sedum has fleshy, slightly scalloped leaves the color of chocolate, and adds a bit of height to dry areas often destined to contain just ground covers. Once it emerges from winter slumber, this dramatically dark sedum can grow six to 12 inches tall, forming an upright clump about a foot wide. Plant with vibrantly colored foliage like Golden Japanese stonecrop (makinoi 'Ogon') or blue-toned 'Cape Blanco' for pleasing color and textural contrasts in container planters and hanging baskets.
