Spreading wider than it is tall, 'Vivid Violet' is a wonderful choice for mass planting in sunny borders, and works equally well for filling container planters and hanging baskets. Cut flowers for indoor enjoyment and deadhead spent blooms to encourage a continuous flow of dome-shaped violet flowers from late spring right into the fall. Drought tolerant once established, this cultivar is also mildew-resistant.
