Based upon the silvery-gray color and fine, needle-like foliage, it's no surprise that Lavender Cotton can handle hot, dry, less than fertile soils. What is surprising are the yellow, button-shaped flowers that emerge in the summer.
Product Description
Product Description
As tough as lavender or sage once it's established, Lavender Cotton adds a unique color and texture to the year-round garden. Often grown in xeriscapes and less-than-hospitable soils, it actually prefers gravelly/sandy soils and that superb drainage. Said to have a pungent, herbal scent, Lavender Cotton has been used in the past as a insect repellent against moths, fleas, and ants, though we have not tested it!
