Product Description
Product Description
Great Burnet is a perennial native to western North America and specifically the Pacific NW, forming clumps of serrated leaflets about two to three feet tall and wide with wine-red bottlebrush like flowers appearing in mid-summer to the fall. Young foliage may be used in salads or cooked dishes, with a flavor vaguely reminiscent of walnuts. This lovely native is a wonderful addition to wildflower gardens; however, spent blooms should be removed if you don't want this plant to spread, as it reseeds easily.
