Nicknamed Black-eyed Susan for its dark center, this Rudbeckia mix includes pure yellow to gold flowers as well as two-toned yellow and rust versions. More compact than some of its cousins, this variety was a recipient of the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. Foot-tall mounds are often covered in blooms from summer right up until freeze. Cut flowers to enjoy indoors, and remove spent flowers to encourage even more blooms.
