'Barbecue' rosemary is apparently so named because its strong, straight stems can be cut and used as skewers for grilling meats and vegetables, imparting that wonderful, slightly astringent rosemary flavor. This evergreen shrub is hardy to zero degrees, drought tolerant once established, grows three to four feet tall and about two feet wide - perfect for hiding unsightly utility boxes.
