The Jurassic™ series of rex begonias do look a bit prehistoric, but what colors and textures they offer! 'Red Splash' sports hairy, heavily serrated, red-centered leaves that can form mounds of foliage approaching two feet in height and width. Perfectly content in the full shade outdoors, it will tolerate dappled sun all day. Rex begonias do not like the cold, so consider growing them indoors year-round with plenty of indirect light.
