We know intellectually that saris are lightweight for a hot, humid climate, but to actually see these fabrics is rather awe-inspiring. 35-inch square wraps range from gauzy to slightly silky, and come from once-used Indian saris. Local artisans are gainfully employed to make these scarves in safe working environments, benefiting them individually and the community as a whole.
