Pumpkin 'Jack Be Little' 4 inch

Like most winter squash, pumpkins need a lot of room, and patience on the part of the gardener. If garden space is limited, consider growing 'Jack Be Little' pumpkins. Vines are short, only three to five feet long, and cute, dark orange pumpkins average three to four inches across and two inches tall. Often regarded as ornamental, this mini pumpkin happens to be delicious as well, and can be baked, roasted, or steamed for sweet and savory dishes. Gardeners have successfully trained this variety upward along chain link fences and A-frames, and 'Jack Be Little' is small enough to be grown in a large container (one plant per five-gallon or larger pot).
