The Ming Aralia isn't the fastest grower, but we think you'll agree it has an arresting presence, no matter what its size. Dark green, serrated edged, narrow leaves form an airy but dense canopy. Normally a multi-stemmed shrub, the Ming aralia can be shaped into tree form, but be aware that it can be a bit finnicky and often responds to stress by dropping its leaves. Well-draining soil, bright indirect light, and higher humidity than humans usually enjoy will keep the Ming aralia happy. Water thoroughly when the top soil is dry, and let it dry out between waterings.
