This is by far the easiest hummingbird feeder to set up and maintain that we have found. Each feeder holds about 1/2 cup of nectar and because they are emptied quickly, they can be washed regularly to avoid bacterial contamination. Best practice: boil water for 1 minute then mix 1 part sugar to 4 parts water. Extra food can be kept in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks. Please do NOT add food coloring.
