Product Description
This dainty-leafed pilea has lots of common names - Pilea glauca, Grey Baby Tears, Grey Artillery Plant, Pilea Silver Sparkle, or Red-stemmed Pilea - but has no official botanical name and is a relative newcomer to the houseplant world. Like its cousins, this little gem grows best in a well-lighted room with higher humidity, and needs to have dry feet between thorough waterings. We could find little definitive information as to how tall and long this beautiful trailing pilea can grow, but some sources say it can reach 6 - 12 inches in height and can trail up to three feet. The red stems can be pinched back to maintain a neater profile, and the cuttings can be easily rooted.
