Pilea depressa

Baby Tears pilea may be plain Jane green, but such a lovely fresh green, and so cute! This variety forms a dense mat of tiny rounded leaves that trail beautifully over the edges of indoor container planters and hanging baskets. It may become a bit leggy if it doesn't get enough light, but the long stems can be pinched back to keep a neater appearance. Pet- and human-friendly, Baby Tears pilea will provide a nice textural contrast when paired with peperomias or other house plants that like higher humidity.
