Picea glauca 'Mac's Gold'

As soon as this specimen came off the delivery truck, we couldn't help being drawn to its eye-popping gold against green coloring. 'Mac's Gold' White Spruce is a stunning choice as a focal point of mid-sized gardens, and can handle container life for several years. Capable of growing up to 15 inches per year, this specimen can reach 20 feet in height and 15 feet in width at maturity. Not usually a first choice for grazing deer, 'Mac's Gold' is also drought tolerant once established, but will need regular watering if grown in a container planter. Growing naturally into an upright pyramidal shape, this specimen requires little pruning.
