Nicknamed Russion Sage and often mistaken for lavender, this tough perennial is neither and has a charm of its own.

Product Description

Russian Sage was voted Perennial Plant of the Year in 1995 by the Perennial Plant Association, and it's still a garden favorite. Fragrant leaves, lovely dissected blue-green foliage and lavender-blue flower spikes from summer into the fall make this a delightful addition to sunny summer gardens. Typically growing two to four feet in height and up to three feet in width, Russian Sage fills the garden spaces between foundation shrubs, along borders, and in container planters. This tough perennial prefers to keep its feet on the drier side, making it a valuable option for xeriscaping and those parts of the garden that aren't watered often.
