Penstemon Mountain Treats™ Rose

Penstemons, aka Beardtongues, conjure up images of cottage gardens and flowery meadows, with their tall, bright blooms from spring into summer. Standing about two feet tall and wide, Mountain Treats™ Rose Beardtongue will bring out the hummingbirds and pollinators, and will put smiles on gardeners' faces. Better placed toward the back of garden borders, they also do well in large container planters, and serve as the "thriller" in mixed plantings. Hardy down to -10 degrees Fahrenheit, penstemons bloom best with lots of sun, though they tolerate a bit of shade.
