Product Description
While some gardeners shy away from geraniums and pelargoniums due to the dreaded budworm, we consider these sun-loving annuals worth it, often because of the foliage. Oak-leaf geranium (or pelargonium) can achieve a shrub-like status, with upright branches growing three to four feet tall and wide. The somewhat sticky, oakleaf shaped leaves have a balsam scent, and add textural interest to container planters, borders, and even mass plantings. Pelargoniums thrive in the heat and full sun with regular watering, and will bloom from late spring into the fall. A tender perennial, Oak-leaf Pelargonium will die with fall freeze.
